In this design, the cooling water for the printing press is pumped primarily through the cooling tower.
In our hemisphere, cooling water temperatures from 25 to 27°C can be achieved by using the evaporation cooling effect, even during hot summer months.
This can help to cover a major share of the year-round cooling supply through the cooling tower. |
A maximum energy supply is ensured by a sliding switchover of the individual cooling water circuits from the cooling tower to the compression refrigerating operation.
BENEFITS as compared to the conventional cold water set are:
- Reduced power consumption (up to 70%)
- Reduced space requirements
- Smaller base surface
